Last night I watched Metropolis.

It was a big surprise, this film is so old and yet so futuristic!

The film shows the different classes that exist in a city, which is designed to highlight further the differences. On the one hand is the upper class, the engineers who run the course of things. On the other is the working class, exploited by the system and responsible for carrying out the tasks entrusted to keep the city alive.

The twist:

The union between Freder, the son of the city´s mastermind, and María, a woman who gives hope to the city’s workers, will try to avoid destruction by appealing to feelings and love. Together will face the differences between both groups.

The class divide is an issue that is long in the society, and has received numerous struggles around the world.

As a result, Metropolis attempts to call attention.

Without limits, all sins happen..

Obviously there will be gaps and certain boundaries between the classes according to the tasks that each one has to develop, but that does not means that teamwork can not achieve a union that benefits all. You must have a shared vision, goal and values in common, and be aware that working together and in harmony can achieve better results. The parts form a whole, so needed to survive.
